The Tradition

Our tradition began when our oldest child was just two years old.  Each St. Patrick’s Day our home is visited by The Naughty Leprechaun leaving a trail of havoc and pranks .

The children had so much fun with his visits that over the years his Irish twin would come too! This brother is not naughty, but instead rewards doing your best by leaving treasures and treats.

Their visits too fun for just one night, soon became three! How lucky we were, not one Leprechaun visiting but two, a choice our kids made each night was to pick between treasures and tricks.   Soon, a coin was introduced to teach the children that luck is not merely a random event but rather created through hard work and preparation. So what started out as a fun family tradition evolved into an interactive teachable lesson about creating your own good luck and not relying on random chance.

Over the years we have created what has now become one of our kid’s most favorite holidays. This activity includes everything you will need to get your St. Patrick’s Day tradition started.  Perfected over time with just the right mix of mischief and morals, The Naughty Leprechaun Story© will become a favorite in your family too!
